Pray for the Lord to use you.
It’s not strange for the Lord to use you if you ask Him. Have you ever had a strong conviction to tell those around you about the Lord Jesus Christ and his saving work for mankind? Do you think you won’t have anything to say? You are not alone in this. Moses experienced this. Exodus 4:10-16….. And Jonah virtually ran away. Jonah 1:3-17.
In modern times, we have examples of how people have reached out to others with the word of God for maximum benefit through
- Radio and TV prayer and preaching progs
- Social media prayer, testimonies, preaching progs
- Outdoor Crusade progs
- Personal one on one outreach to friends, family members
What did you do about your convictions to evangelize?
She actually began by asking God to help her reach out to others. A renowned preacher did the same. This is a method a God uses. He has already given us the commission in Mathew 28:20. The Holy Spirit’s conviction leads to action on our part.

Hers fulfilled the verse Rom.10:13-14. Though we don’t know what form her prayer took, the woman’s reaction when she returned and her prayer are seeds sown. “.everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard…?
A great preacher reminds us that ‘not witnessing is a sin” because we are not bearing fruit and it can cause us to be cut off. John 15:2. We practically ‘die’ spiritually. Not feeding our faith causes it to wither.
Results of witnessing
Witnessing to others about Christ can increase your faith, help live a life of victory, function successfully as a Christian, and have a closer relationship with God.
Sharing this testimony of her efforts can bring about more Christians sharing what they do and this can encourage the flock of God as a whole. Those not doing so can start doing it, ridding of the guilt of not witnessing.
The only way we can remember this command of God is to pray, asking him to give us opportunities to witness. As he has told us to go into all the world and to preach the gospel unto every creature Mathew 28:20.
